The Joint UN Programme “PRO - Local Governance for People and Nature,” implemented by United Nations agencies in Serbia – UNOPS, UNICEF, UNFPA, and UNEP – with the support of the Government of Switzerland and in partnership with the Government of the Republic of Serbia, invites 27 local self-governments that participated in the programme's environmental governance activities to submit information on the results achieved through their initiatives.

The objective of this call is to gather information to assess the outcomes and impacts of the implemented activities, which will serve as the basis for selecting award recipients, with the top three highest-rated local self-governments receiving symbolic awards. Furthermore, the submitted materials will be used to identify examples of best practices, as well as to prepare a presentation of results and lessons learned for the event in June 2026.

The call is open to the 27 LSGs that implemented activities with the support of the Programme – whether through technical assistance, grant support, or both components: Babušnica, Bela Palanka, Bojnik, Bosilegrad, Brus, Ćuprija, Knić, Knjaževac, Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Lapovo, Majdanpek, Mali Zvornik, Malo Crniće, Medveđa, Niš, Osečina, Prijepolje, Ražanj, Sjenica, Svilajnac, Šabac, Tutin, Valjevo, Varvarin, Vrnjačka Banja and Žagubica.

Based on the received applications, the Evaluation Commission will assess the achieved results, identify examples of best practices, and select the most successful local self-government units.
